Good starter, buuuut?
Bought this item mainly for the informational aspect of it, did'nt expect much quality in the instrument for the price, If you buy this item there is some minor setup that needs to take place in order to make this instrument playable...First of all GET RID OF THE STRINGS ON THIS INSTRUMENT!!!! It will not stay in tune..Go ahead and buy new ones before you even start trying to play it, or it will sound terrible...

A basic uke but great for the price. The books assume a little (but not too much) knowledge of music/reading music, which I have, and I have enjoyed learning some chords so far. Great deal, a good starter instrument.
Cheap Uke, mediocre training book
Like I wrote above, the Ukulele is super cheap and its sound quality is terrible. The training materials are mediocre. I would not recommend purchasing this ensemble. If the book were sold separately for less money, it might be fair.
